Mintara Patio Expansion

This has been an exciting project for JLA Studios and expands upon our previous Municipal and Hospitality experience. Working with Rafael Santa Ana Architecture Workshop (RSAAW) on this significant project has been an inspiring and collaborative experience that has resulted in a beautiful and functional space.

JLA Studios has provided Interior Design Services to complement and enhance the Architectural and significant site features while providing a romantic, but modern take on patio dining and event space. We have worked closely with the team and client to address code implications on the seating count and outdoor bar and barbeque area while providing a flexible and inviting space with uninterrupted views.

The overall design concept provides a gentle nod to the existing restaurant interior with contrasting tones and textures captured through various materials including blackened steel, with a subtle patina, paired with soft woven fabrics, and textural hues resembling old world plaster techniques.
